On Sunday, November 8, 2009 a benefit performance is taking place at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre in support of Mr. William (Bill) Jamieson of Mount Pearl. Bill suffers from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and was the recipient of a lung transplant in October 2007. He is still required to travel to Toronto every second month for ongoing treatment and patient care which cannot be undertaken in this province. Funds from this performance will be used to offset the extraordinary expenses that he incurs while traveling to and from Toronto and while staying there for his required treatments. As part of this benefit show “An Evening of Music and Dance”, Bill and his family have chosen to direct a portion of the monies earned to the Travel Assistance fund of The Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association. This fund is used to assist any persons who have to travel for medical treatment related to any lung
related condition.

Tickets are $25.00 for Adults and $20.00 for Seniors and Students
